New swine flu detected in China has potential for a pandemic

Chinese researchers have identified a new form of swine flu that can cause a pandemic, according to a report published in the US science journal PNAS Monday.
Named G4, it has been genetically inherited from the H1N1 strain which caused a 2009 pandemic.

Scientist at Chinese universities, and the Chinese Disease Control and Prevention Center, says, It has "all the essential characteristics of being highly developed to infect people.’’

Researchers have taken 30,000 nasal swabs from pigs in slaughterhouses in 10 Chinese provinces and a veterinary hospital from 2011 to 2018, enabling them to isolate 179 swine flu viruses.

The scientists then performed numerous trials including on ferrets that are commonly used in flu studies because they experience similar symptoms to humans — mainly nausea, coughing and sneezing.

Tests have shown that any human immunity acquired from seasonal flu exposure does not offer protection from G4.

10.4 per cent of swine workers had already been infected, according to blood tests that turned up antibodies produced by virus exposure. The virus has already spread from animals to humans but there is no evidence yet that it can be transmitted from human to human — the key concern of the scientists.

The writers have called for immediate action to track pig-workers. ‘The work comes as a salutary reminder that we are constantly at risk of new emergence of zoonotic pathogens and that farmed animals, with which humans have greater contact than with wildlife, may act as the source for important pandemic viruses," said James Wood, head of the department of veterinary medicine at Cambridge University.

Nodosaur dinosaur 'Mummy' Revealed With Intact Skin And Guts

Canada revealed a really well-preserved dinosaur that many have taken to label it "dinosaur mummy" not a fossil but an honest-to-goodness mummy.

You can't even see the bones, so it's hailed by experts as perhaps the best-preserved specimen of dinosaurs ever discovered. That's because the bones remain coated with preserved skin and armor—110 million years after the death of the man.
For the fur, armor, and even some of the guts of the creature intact, researchers are amazed at its almost unparalleled degree of preservation.

When this dinosaur — a member of a newly discovered genus named nodosaur — was alive, it was a massive four-legged herbivore protected by a spiky, plated shell, weighing in at about 3,000 pounds.
The fossilized nodosaur is so healthy today that he still weights 2.500 pounds.

In Pic : A pile of pebble-like masses may be traces of the last meal of a nodosaur.

How well the dinosaur mummy could remain so intact is something of a surprise, but, as CNN reports, researchers believe that the nodosaur could have been washed away by a flooded river and taken to sea, where it finally sunk to the ocean floor.

When millions of years have gone by minerals may finally have taken the place of the armor and skin of the dinosaur. It can help understand why it has preserved the creature in such a lifelike form.

The maintenance has been so good that researchers have been able to find out the skin color of the dinosaur, according to Science Alert.

Researchers detected pigments on dinosaur scales, using mass spectrometry techniques. Reportedly, the coloring of the nodosaur on top of the body was a dark reddish brown — and lighter on the lower part.

As though the preservation of skin, arms, and guts wasn't enough impressive, the dinosaur mummy is also remarkable in that it was preserved in three dimensions, that is the animal's original form was maintained.

Brown said, ‘‘It will go down in science history as one of the most beautiful and best preserved dinosaur specimens — the Mona Lisa of dinosaurs.”

In PicMark Mitchell, the technician of the Royal Tyrrell Museum, slowly opens the foot of the nodosaur and the furred footpad from the rock around him. Careful work by Mitchell will preserve the mysterious characteristics of the animal for years to come.

While the mummy nodosaur dinosaur was remarkably well preserved, it was still difficult to get it to its current show shape. The species was reportedly first identified in 2011 when the specimen was inadvertently found by a heavy-machine operator while digging through oil sands in Alberta.

It took researchers 7,000 hours over the course of six years to study the remains and  prepare them for display at the Royal Tyrrell Museum. Now, at last, visitors have the opportunity to look at the closest thing to a real-life dinosaur the world has probably ever seen.

Indian villagers rediscovers 200-year-old Hindu Temple Buried for almost a century

Nageswara Swamy temple was officially rediscovered in India after it was buried in sand for 80 years. Experts believe the 200-year-old Perumallapadu structure began to be swept away by the big floods of 1850 — and by 1940 was completely filled and wrapped with sand and seawater.

Smithsonian, that the weather in 1850 altered the course of the Penna River so dramatically that it started redirecting sand into the temple for decades.
Although it remains disputed if the temple is 200 or 300 years old or not, there are a few things for sure.

In Pic : Nageswara Swami temple rediscovered.

The temple is dedicated to Lord Nageswara, an Avatar of the God Shiva, according to Ancient Origins.

Exceptionally, about 35 men, some of them miners, undertook the initiative to reemerge the beautiful structure. Many of them had returned home in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the missing temple stories energised them to do something.

The work officially began after the team of enthusiastic villagers collected enough money to fund the dig. Many even agreed to go free to work on the construction. The fact that it took an entire day of digging in the sand merely to reveal the pinnacle of the temple certainly summarizes the heft in terms of its size.

Although this achievement undoubtedly showed that they finally had the temple located, there is much more work to be done before the project is completed. As all Hindu temples, the parts of Nageswara Swamy follow a strict pattern laid out thousands of years ago — which all need to be revealed.

The villagers intend to complete the excavation as it stands, and restore the temple to its original purpose of worship.

UN Chief frustated by lack of global cooperation on Covid 19

UN chief criticized the total lack of international coordination in addressing the
Covid 19 pandemic and warned that many countries' take-it-alone policies won't defeat the coronavirus.
In an interview with The Associated Press, Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said what needs to be done is to make countries understand that by acting in isolation, "they are creating the situation that gets out of control"-and that global coordination is key.’’
He said, "in the response to the Covid there is a total lack of coordination between countries."
Guterres said it is necessary to use this reality "to make countries realize that bringing them together, building up their capacities, not only to combat the pandemic in a coordinated way, but also to work together to ensure that medicines, testing processes, vaccinations are available to everyone.
From the outset of the pandemic, Guterres has tried to organize international action to address what he says is the world's biggest challenge since World War II. He called for a global cease-fire on March 23 against all conflicts to tackle Covid-19 but the reaction was very limited.
And his and Who chief requests for the battle against Covid-19 for international "solidarity" has not contributed to major improvements in nationalist approaches to the treatment of the virus.
Guterres said, ''I am frustrated, of course, with the lack of international cooperation at the present moment, but I hope that the new generations will be able to make things change in the future."
The Secretary-General said he sees "a huge unity movement" in societies and communities, and more voices say, for instance, that a vaccine must be "a people's vaccine, not a vaccine in a country-to - country commercial dispute to benefit the rich and the poor not."
"So, when I listen to youth's voices, when I listen to civil society's voices, I see the seeds that hopefully will quantify in a much better coordination in the future around response to pandemics like this one," Guterres said.

Meteorite falls in Rajasthan village, causing 20-foot deep crater

A meteorite has crashed in a strange yet curious incident in the village of Nangla Kasota, located in  Rajasthan. The meteorite exploded in the fields and was responsible for forming a field crater with a depth of 20 feet. Police have already arrived at the spot and have informed the authorities concerned.

Early findings indicated that the impact with the ground generated a crater measuring 20-feet deep. A meteorite fell in the same way as this incident a couple of years ago near Jaipur in which the scientists found rare metal and carbon that helps them to investigate the existence of life on earth.

A local named Surendra Singh was quoted in an online media report saying a bright light fell from the sky to the ground on Monday evening at about 7.15 pm. The result of the meteorite 's fall was a crater that was almost 4 feet wide and 20 feet deeper. Another village resident said that when he saw a blue light in the sky he was ploughing on his field.
Usually a meteorite falls when it breaks off from a larger meteoroid and falls into the Earth's atmosphere. Upon entry, due to friction with the air, it burns up and that is what causes the blue light.

Initial investigations are ongoing, and the same shall be updated when the meteor information is received.

Coronavirus Vaccine latest news and updates.

In Pic : Baba Ramdev and Patanjali Ayurved MD Acharya Balkrishna introduce Coronil, a self-proclaimed coronavirus remedy.

COVID-19 shows no signs of stoppage. While many countries are beginning to bounce back to some degree of normalcy, India is witnessing a rapid spike in cases of infection, and is now the fourth worst affected nation worldwide. Researchers work around the clock to produce a vaccine or find an effective pandemic-fighting treatment plan. Here is a round-up of the latest developments.

Patanjali Ayurveda, of Baba Ramdev, has said that its researchers have found a ready cure for the outbreak. The group's CEO, Acharya Balkrishna also said the medication was able to completely "cure" COVID-19 infected patients within 5-14 days during its test process.

In a statement he said, "After the Covid-19 outbreak, we appointed a team of scientists. First, the simulation was done and compounds were identified that can fight the virus and stop it from spreading in the body. Then, we conducted a clinical case study on hundreds of positive patients and we got 100% positive results. We are not thinking of a booster to immunity. We 're talking about a cure.’’ He also said the patients had tested negative for COVID-19 consecutively as well.
The drug regulatory board has recently given the product the go-ahead for clinical trials. If the results are indeed accurate, this will be the first alternative treatment successfully found in globally suppressing the viral spread.

If this update turns out to be promising, then it will be a huge breakthrough for the world fighting this pandemic.

Delhi Health Minister , Covid Positive

The condition of Delhi's minister of health, Satyendar Jain, who tested positive for coronavirus disease (Covid-19), worsened on Friday and transferred to another hospital in the capital, officials said.

Union home minister Amit Shah wished a speedy recovery for Satyendar Jain.

"Praying for the speedy recovery of Delhi's Health Minister Shri Satyendra Jain who is battling COVID-19 infection," tweeted Shah.

On Wednesday Satyendar Jain tweeted that he had tested positive for coronavirus disease. After developing high fever, he was admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital (RGSSH) on Tuesday, and his oxygen saturation levels fell.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) lawmaker Atishi and two other party members have contracted the respiratory illness.

Also on Wednesday, Akshay Marathe, an adviser to CM Arvind Kejriwal, and Abhinandita Mathur, a consultant to deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, tested positive for the viral disease.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tested negative for Covid-19 last week. After he developed mild fever and a sore throat, his swab samples were collected.

The pandemic shows no signs of stopping it’s spread after all the measures and precautions taken.

India's Lonar Lake Mysteriously Went Overnight from deep green to reddish pink

In Pic : Lonar water turnt pink.

Coronavirus Lockdowns may have led the algae , bacteria, as potential explanations why Lonar Crater Lake turned pink.

Scientists were flabbergasted  by 50,000-year-old crater lake in India after its usually green-hued water suddenly turned pink. Experts believe that the bizarre change in color was likely formed by the lake's changing alkalinity, though others suspect alternative explanations behind the change.

According to the Times of India, the sudden color shift of the Lonar Crater Lake that occurred suddenly in the middle of June 2020 has compelled government agencies and conservation organizations to investigate.

MN Khairnar, deputy conservator of the Maharashtra Forest Department in Akola, said. `We are observing the phenomenon to such an extent for the first time. We will collect samples of the lake water for testing to find the reason behind the occurrence. These samples will be sent to Neeri, Nagpur, and Agarkar Research Institute, Pune.”

This lake situated within the Deccan Plateau, part of the Lonar Sanctuary extending over 1,4 square kilometers of protected land in Maharashtra some 310 miles from Mumbai, the Lonar Crater Lake has an amazing past dating back millennia ago.

2020, End of World ?

The Annular Solar Eclipse 2020 is set to take place on 21 June. Well, reports are widespread that the doomsday is near and the world will end this year, to be specific on June 21.

Many have said for a long time that a total solar eclipse will mean the end of the planet. Find out why many fear a complete solar eclipse is the end of the planet.

Representational image
Remember the Mayan calendar that predicted the end of the planet on 21 December 2012? According to new expert predictions, what was considered December 2012 was in fact June 2020. That means the world 's end is near.

The new conspiracy theory also incorporates the idea of the Mayan calendar that NASA swept aside by providing evidence.

Ancient Fears

Back in the 7th Century BC, the movement of a total solar eclipse over the Greek island of Paros triggered the poet Archilocus to write: "Nothing in the world can surprise me now. For Zeus, the Olympian 's father, turned midday into black night by shielding light from the blossoming Sun, and now dark terror hangs over mankind.’’

Wipe away evil

Many in ancient times performed different practices during an eclipse in what they called 'wading away the devil.' In Western Asia the belief was that the dragon was devouring the sun. In China a heavenly dog has been said to bit the sun. It was described as a puma in Peru while the Vikings said two wolves took it upon themselves.

2020, is getting challenging day by day.

The despise of failure will not break me down,
The demented society will not break me down,
The criticism of others will not tear me down,
The fathom of `Me’ and my life will prevail.
The impulsion of life will keep me moving.
The deceptive two faced people will not smother me down.
I am the Woman.
Vulnerable, in vain, exquisite, frolic, simultaneously, skeptical, victim, peckish for love.
I combat to those who shows betrayal,
The suffocation of their prison of mind will not break me down.
I may have failed, and failed everytime,
But i will prevail from all the substandard thinking and myths.
Yes, i will prevail.
The only person I fight the battle is with me with the delusions of my mind.
No one has the right to break me down,
no one has the right to shut me down.
Because as long as i will keep empowering myself , i will avail my life into happiness.
Empowerment begins within and with me.
No askhole can stop me.
